| There is one master and two slaves connected on RS485 two wire (MODBUS protocol). The length of the cables is hardly 6 inches. The System is picking up noise. Is it advisable to put terminating resistor for such short lengths. please give solution. |

| you try by increasing the length to min 1Mtr and Connect a pot(1k) as terminating resisitor.I think your problem is reflexions.So by adjusting the pot you can avoide that |
