Dear Lammert,

I have a stupid question.

I am unable to enter values in the CRC code you wrote.

I opened the program in turbo C and tried to put in the command getch(); to get the screen to stay-put in DOS so that i could enter the values but it's not working for some reason.

Also you said one can invoke the program by writing tst_crc -a or tst_crc -x. Could you please explain how exactly it's done.

I've written a program for the new state of the art automotive Protocol called FlexRay using the 32-bit ARM processor.

I do most of my work in assembly language so kindly excuse my ineptitude when it comes to C.

Best Regards

Hi Lammert

I sat down with a friend and sorted everything out.

just one question. as i mentioned earlier i'm dealing with FlexRay.

From which line in your program do i take the calculated CRC output for CRC CCITT (1d0f) and transfer it to memory location so that i can load it into any one of the 15 registers in the 32-bit ARM processor from this memory location?

This CRC program has really bitten me really well.

Kindly assist.
