Using a TI DSP instead of Microchip.

Hi all, Iím a electrical engineering student here in Brazil and I interested to build my own metal detector. I currently have a board with a TI TMS320F2808 and
DDS that can generate a sine wave from 1 Hz to 10MHz. That DSP run at 100MHz and are capable to do 12MSPS peak or 2MSPS sustained sample rate.

Iím interested in TX/RX approach, due my need to distinguish between ferrous and non-ferrous metals, and size too.

If someone can give some direction on how to build these coils and some others stuff related I will be very glad.
I can share my result to everyone interested on this project.
