Many embedded and industrial applications require computer systems with small dimensions, when possible without a fan to keep dust out of the system.

Digital Logic announced on the CEBIT two new computers, the MPC20 and MPC21 with a size of 160 x 110 mm (about Eurocard format) and thickness of 26 or 47 mm.

Both computers are working on the AMD Geode LX800 processor on 500MHz. This processor is so energy efficient that the computers can be operated without a fan.

Although the dimensions are small, the performance of these computers is impressive. A maximum of 1GB of memory can be installed, two 10/100 ethernet connections are available and the display controller supports VGA with a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1440 at 85Hz. All common computer operating systems can be used, including Windows XP, Linux and QNX.

More information on the company website.
