Veel achtergrond informatie over \u00e9\u00e9n van de oudste communicatiemethoden in de computer wereld. Al ontwikkeld in het begin van de zestiger jaren blijkt het nog steeds een belangrijke computer interface vanwege de robuustheid en eenvoudige implementatie in allerlei soorten apparatuur.<\/p>\n<\/dd>\n\n\n\n

Seri\u00eble RS485<\/a><\/dt>\n\n\n\n

Ondanks de vele moderne netwerk technologie\u00ebn die tegenwoordig beschikbaar zijn speelt de oude seri\u00eble standaard RS485 een belangrijke rol in data acquisitie en besturingstoepassingen in wetenschappelijke en technische omgevingen. Het belangrijke voordeel van de interface is dat het eenvoudig is, lange afstanden en hoge bitsnelheden toestaat en kan worden aangestuurd vanaf kleine controllers en intelligente sensoren. De RS485 standaard is door communicatie protocollen zoals MODBus<\/a>, Interbus-S en Profibus aangenomen als de definitie van de elektrische laag van deze protocollen.<\/p>\n<\/dd>\n\n\n\n

USB, universal serial bus<\/a><\/dt>\n\n\n\n

USB is de nieuwe standaard in de communicatie tussen PC’s en randapparaten. Het doel was om zowel de seri\u00eble RS232, als de parallelle interface te vervangen door een nieuwe bus architectuur die plug-and-play compatible moest zijn.<\/p>\n<\/dd>\n\n\n\n

On-line CRC berekening<\/a><\/dt>\n\n\n\n

Het on-line CRC berekeningsformulier kan worden gebruikt om voor elke invoer string de CRC16, CRC-CCITT en CRC32 te berekenen. Er is een uitleg over hoe het algoritme werkt en gratis routines zijn beschikbaar om te downloaden.<\/p>\n<\/dd>\n\n\n\n

ASCII tekenset<\/a><\/dt>\n\n\n\n

De ASCII character set is de de-facto standaard voor het coderen van tekst documenten.
